Éilis Kennedy

 

 

From Baile an Mhúraigh, West of Dingle, Éilis has been singing and playing music  all her life. She  learned  many  songs  from  her  father , Caoimhín and her uncle Muiris, as well as literally  hundreds  more over the years. She has  2  solo  cd’s “ Time to Sail “ and “ One Sweet Kiss” , as  well as  the latest  with her singing  “ sister” Pauline  as Lumiere. Éilís has also  been involved in a musical collaboration   with the composer Shaun Davey  which is a collection of 15  songs , based on her father’s poetry and set  to  music  by Shaun  entitled Béal Tuinne .She  has   toured extensively in the US  and  in Europe
